Owner
Born in north-central China and later relocating to the vibrant city of Shenzhen, Anna has always had a deep passion for flowers. After moving to the U.S., Anna volunteered at a local flower shop, which aligned perfectly with her and her husband’s love for growing flowers in their 11 gardens.
After six months at the shop, Anna approached the owner with an offer. Ready for a change, the owner agreed, and in 2018, Anna purchased the business. Committed to preserving the essence of independent florists, Anna invested her time, energy, and capital into revitalizing the shop. Through hard work and dedication, Anna and her team have ensured the shop’s success, offering a personalized touch in a market increasingly dominated by corporate florists.
Anna believes flowers are central to life’s most meaningful moments, bringing beauty, joy, and emotion to special occasions. Whether designing elaborate wedding arrangements or crafting simple bouquets, she finds fulfillment in turning raw flowers into works of art.
“As a florist, what I love most is the opportunity to create meaningful experiences for our clients—whether it’s for a wedding or a simple bouquet. It’s incredibly rewarding to transform raw materials into art that enhances life’s milestones.” Anna also takes great pride in mentoring her team, supporting their growth, collaboration, and pride in their work.
Now expanding into the wedding and events industry, Lovejoy Florals is dedicated to bringing clients’ dreams to life on their most special days.
With the unwavering support of her family and her team, Anna has been honored with both Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 and the Business of the Year 2020 awards by the Lake Zurich Chamber of Commerce.
When Anna isn’t running the shop or being a full-time mom, you’ll find her on the golf course.
